Samsung ST550
The Samsung ST550 is different to other compact digital cameras in that it features two LCD screens. One of these is on the front of the camera next to the lens. This makes it so much easier to take self portraits or group shots with you included as you can preview the shot before actually taking it. Also included are the following:-
Smile and blink detection
3.5 inch LCD screen at the rear with gesture (touchscreen) controls
27mm wide angle lens
4.6x optical zoom
720p HD ready movie taking
Clear sharp pictures
“Beauty Shot” which ‘removes’ any skin blemishes from your portrait shots
Conclusion
The touchscreen makes control of the camera easy to perform without all the usual knobs and dials associated with normal compacts, the only physical control being a little rocker switch for zooming, and of course the one unique feature for this camera has to be the front facing screen for those ‘easy to take’ self portraits.

Woow.. the two lcd screens is a big plus, especially since most people take pics of themselves to put up on social media sites…this is great for that purpose as you can see the shot before you take it..cool

Nice, but i still think you’d be better off with a canon given its superior optics.

Hurray! What I could tell about my newly bought Samsung ST550 digital camera other than “WOW”. Yea, whether it is a single shot or group flash images I could see a clear resolution in all the pics greatly. Even the 4.6x optical zoom by the Schneider lens and the touch LCD screens are too good. I could take fabulous pics of myself by its front facing feature of course. Even I am able to scroll through all the menus effortlessly with its easy navigation feature and even in dim lights it optimizes clear shots with its 14 preset modes literally. Recommended digital camera!
